The Kerrin Cup Announces Tony Ramos as the 2016 Champion!

The championship was played on two of North America's most prestigious golf courses Cabot Links and Cabot Cliffs, both located in Sydney Nova Scotia. The weather was perfect, the courses were packed, and the hospitality was 5 star, as provided by Peter Kerrin. The match official, Mitch Ramos, was in attendance for all 18 holes and to keep an eye on his Dad. Wes Yeager started well with a scorching 38 on the front 9, but at the end Tony Ramos led by one. The Cliff course was demanding but incredibly scenic, except for the point where Wesley started to hit the ball out of bounds and found himself hitting 3 and sometimes 5 from the tee box. The match was decided on the last hole. Tony finished strong, as is his nature, and the event was concluded with a wonderful seafood dinner hosted by Peter Kerrin.
